After the success of Nomad’s wireless charging and cable products, Nomad wanted to enhance their market offering with a line of AC adapters. As principal designer, Ryan strategized how to design a premium line of AC adapters with a shared aesthetic that embodies the Nomad fieldtech aesthetic, and uses clever manufacturing and surface finishing techniques that target the high-end nature of the Nomad brand. Through multiple competitor product teardowns, concept development stages, 3D printing stages, and even product graphic development, every detail of the designs have been considered to ensure maximum success for Nomad’s introduction into the AC Adapter market.
