Most medical lab machines are clunky, outdated hunks of plastic, Wyatt tasked Stel to create the next generation of molecular diagnostic tools for their lab to distinguish themselves from the rest of the market. A series of cuvettes go into the top loaded chamber to undergo molecular processing, and the design is built to accentuate this primary interaction, as well as create a modern and sophisticated aesthetic that reflects the core technology inside. Ryan used his experience with manufacturing techniques to create a modern lightweight feel, premium finishing details, and a dead front animated interface bar that pulses and breathes as the machine operates, giving the product a sense of intelligence as it undergoes advanced operations inside.
